won't be doing any studying

What do you do when you're burned out after finishing your university course and need a break to recharge your batteries? Easy, you do what every other student does – get together with hundreds of your mates and come to Ibiza!

The Erasmus student exchange network has just organised such a trip for almost 1800 students who arrived yesterday. In typical student style, 1150 of them actually took over the whole of one of Balearia's ferries from Valencia to Ibiza and danced on deck to a live band all the way here. Meanwhile hundreds more travelled by ferry from Barcelona and Denia.

Just like in term time, the students won't be doing any studying while they're in Ibiza, and instead will be revising lounging about all day, with trips planned to Las Salinas, Formentera and Calas Tarida and Conta.

Evenings will be spent in the familiar territory of staying up way too late with special night time activities laid on in Martina, Es Paradis and Pacha Discos, Cafe del Mar and an open air sunset party with music, foam, swimming pool and a free cocktail.

With activities like these is it any wonder that students are no longer revolting?

Soooooo not fair!!!!!! All I get is an internship with the Chicago Reporter and a trip to Springfield, IL. to lobby legislator's. I'm a bit of a nerd so this is what I do.

I should learn Spanish and move to Spain. ;)

Going camping this weekend...
