Ton Up Ibiza: Full Speed Ahead

Motorists in Ibiza will very soon be able to travel faster than they can think thanks to a new ruling from the Balearic Government.

They've decided that the speed limit of 80 kilometres per hour on the big new Ibiza to San Antonio road will now be increased by 25 %, way beyond the rate of inflation, so that drivers can now legally hit a ton.

The increase goes ahead despite many other big Spanish cities keeping their limit at 80 with less contamination and greater safety as a result.

Ibiza drivers can put the pedal to the metal as from next week.......
