refreshing dips in the sea

It's yet another of the 364 days a year when Ibiza is hotter than Manchester. In fact so hot is it that the 'General Direction of Emergencies' have declared a yellow alert for Ibiza and Formentera with temperatures of 34 degrees forecast.

We advise all holidaymakers in Ibiza to stock up on cool drinks and crisps for the beach, slap on some factor 20, take plenty of refreshing dips in the sea – it's alright once you get in – and maybe stoke up the BBQ for an alfresco meal in the balmy evening temperatures.

Manchester Ship Canal

Holidaymakers in Manchester need only remember their raincoats and brollies if venturing out.
