a touch of Flamenco

The 2009 Ibiza Jazz Festival will be held on four consecutive days this year from 26th to 29th August. The artists taking part are;

Joachim Kühn, a German pianist based in Ibiza who in the past has accompanied Jazz luminaries such as Ornette Coleman.

Tineke Postma, a young Dutch sax player and her quartet.

Niño Josele, a guitarist from Almeria whose Jazz stylings have more than a touch of Flamenco.

The Golden Gospel Singers, a vocal and instrumental septet from the states who'll bring some of that old time religion to Dalt Vila.
