classic Mediterranean cookery
The Balearic Islands will be represented by a young Ibicenco restaurateur in this year's Champion Chef of Spain Competition. Moisés Machado of the Ca Na Sofia restaurant in Cala Vadella will step up to the plate at the event held in Madrid on 31st March and 1st April at the International Salon of
the Gourmet Club.
There's a possibility that if he wins, the young chef, who describes his cuisine at Ca Na Sofia as 'modern, but not forgetting the roots of classic Mediterranean cookery' could go on to represent
Spain in the European championship.
Good luck Moisés!
