nasty chemicals
According to the Balearic Government's Environment department, the air in Ibiza is very clean. They have 4 permanent air testing stations on the island – in San Antonio, Can Misses, Dalt Vila and by the Gesa power station – which measure pollution. Results show that levels of nasty chemicals like sulphur dioxide, carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide and dioxide, are five times lower than normal.
However, just to confirm that all the island is blessed with good quality air, a mobile testing unit is to be brought over for the first time in five years to take samples all over the island. It will visit both urban and country areas up to the end of October and we're sure that the results will show that Ibiza really does have a fantastic atmosphere!
