Ibiza New Year's Honour

MBE for her charitable activities

We're pleased to say that one of Ibiza's most respected citizens has been honoured by the Queen in Britain's New Year's Honours list.

Pam Deakin, who has lived on the island for many years, has been awarded the MBE for her charitable activities in Ibiza and Formentera.

She's Vice-President of the Ibiza and Formentera Association for the Prevention of Cancer which does excellent work on the island. Congratulations Pam!
