More than 752,000 people have arrived by ferry at Ibiza harbour in the first six months of 2007. Back in 2002 the figure was a mere 528,000.
We're going to be overrun with pensioners from Spain this winter. The Imserso organisation will be sending 210,000 retired people to the Balearics on subsidised holidays starting at the end of September.
There's no light at the end of the tunnel when it comes to paying for the new roads. Keeping the tunnel through San Rafael illuminated will cost taxpayers €350,000 a year! The last lot kept us in the dark about that one!
