vibrant and forward thinking
San Antonio really is getting its act together and shows definite promise of becoming Ibiza's most modern resort. It's not so long since we featured the opening of the new maritime station at the port.
An ultra modern building in both design and facilities it makes embarking and disembarking from the big ferries from Barcelona and Denia an absolute pleasure and puts Ibiza harbour to shame.
Meanwhile, pedestrians in the town are now seeing the benefit of the improvements to the town centre streets and the new walkway, built at a cost of €700,000, which runs alongside the harbour. This will soon link with the new promenade from San Antonio to Cala Gracio.

And once again San An is stealing a march on sophisticated Ibiza town by having a real live bus station constructed rather than a few stops on the street.
The steel infrastructure is now in place and its design once again demonstrates how vibrant and forward thinking San Antonio has become since new Mayor José Sala took control. Keep it up San Antonio.
