cancelled because of a snow storm

The Boxing Day concert in Ibiza Town's main square, the Vara de Rey, by the Golden Apple Quartet had to be cancelled because of an unexpected snow storm.

This came as a great shock to the assembled crowd who had enjoyed a beautiful, warm, sunny day and were fully expecting to see this close harmony group from the Basque country. Unfortunately snow at San Sebastian airport forced the cancellation of the Golden Apple's plane and bang went the concert.

The concert has been rescheduled for Friday 29^th December at 19.30 in the square (weather in San Sebastian permitting) so pop along for a dose of excellent acapella.
