Ibiza Fantasy Island

If you ever harboured fantasies about owning your very own private island anchored off the coast of Ibiza you can forget them for the moment. Unfortunately for most of us, the private island of Sa Ferradura at Puerto San Miguel has just been sold by its owner, Dutch textile magnate, Willy Gilissen.

For sale for two years with a whopping price tag of €32.9 million, the island comes slightly better equipped than your average two-up-two-down in Wigan.

First, its total area is 6 hectares and also included in the price were various yachts, cruisers and all terrain vehicles. The house itself has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, 14 salons and each suite has its own private garden. Outside you get terraces, little private beaches, a pool and a lagoon with a waterfall.

The new owner is reputed to have paid around €30 million for the property and should he (or she) wish to rent it out then the going rate is €148,000 per week. That's only just over ten grand a week each between 14 of you and for that you get 20 staff at your beck and call.

See you there next year?
