completely missing the famous San Antonio sunset

The sad death of Prince Rainier of Monaco has stirred up memories of times long past for some San Antonio residents who revealed that the Prince and his young bride Princess Grace spent some of their honeymoon in San Antonio Bay.

Newlywed in 1956 the honeymoon couple anchored their yacht in the bay one morning whilst the Prince indulged in his favourite pastime of underwater fishing in the Cala Grassio area.

Afterwards they sunbathed on the deck of the yacht before sailing off in the afternoon, completely missing the famous San Antonio sunset which at that time had not yet been invented.
