There was motor mayhem, destruction and total traffic madness in San Rafael last week and we're not talking about Tuesday morning when Manumission lets out.
The San Rafael hippodrome played host to the 'Battle of the Kings,' an event organised by world motocross champion Heinz Kinigadner to raise funds for charity. Taking part were some of the fastest, most famous names in motor sport including Nelson Picquet, David Coulthard, Christian Klien, Dani Pedrosa, Michael Doohan, and Niki Lauda.
Not only did the lads have to demonstrate their versatility on all manner of vehicles such as karts and quads, but also there was even a session on jet skis at Talamanca beach.
The overall winner of the event was Nani Roma, a 33 year old Spaniard and past winner of the Dakar Rally, who probably had the advantage of training round Ibiza town to hone up his parking techniques.
