famed for their quality of service
More details have been released about the conversion of Ibiza's castle high atop Dalt Vila into a Parador, a prestigious hotel and part of a 'chain' run by a special government agency.
The hotel will have 70 rooms and at a cost of €20 to 25million will be open in 2009. It will bring to a hundred the number of Paradors in Spain, currently standing at 90 but with 10 including Ibiza in the pipeline.
Spain's Paradors enjoy a high reputation and are famed for their quality of service and specialise in serving the local food of the area. They are usually housed in converted castles, monasteries or grand old buildings and bring a certain cachet to the town where they are. It can only be good for Ibiza.
