There’ll be no excuses form now on for mistaking our local constabulary’s patrol cars for taxis. Gone are the plain white vehicles with a blue checked stripe and in are the new dazzling Citroen Xsaras in a tastefully selected red, purple and yellow colourway.

Whilst this may be an ideal combination for a 70’s bedroom make-over on Changing Rooms, local coppers are not well pleased at the changes which have been imposed upon them at regional level in Palma. One top cop said that his car looked like something out of ‘Flower Power’ at Pacha! We reckon that within a month nobody will even notice the new cars.
