... proposing to build 600 apartments in blocks of 4 storeys...

It looks like the land at the Ses Variades/Sunset Strip area of San Antonio will soon be developed into a residential area.

The political and legal process of converting the status of the land to 'urbanisable' is all but complete and the owners of the land are about to present their plans for development to the council for approval. They are proposing to build 600 apartments in blocks of 4 storeys around a landscaped avenue 400 metres long and 40 metres wide. They are also proposing to build a new sports harbour with moorings for 300 boats.

As usual with a project like this there are as many people passionately against it as there are for it.
