Put a big red ring round January 7th on your 2003 calendars. Why? Because that's the day the sales start in Ibiza! It may seem late to those accustomed to bargain hunting just after Christmas, but don't forget that the main present giving celebration in Spain is 6th January, Epiphany, when the Three Wise Men presented gold, frankincense and myrrh to the baby Jesus.
So, like everywhere else, the sales coincide with the period when you no longer need to buy presents for everybody, and also start on the day you go back to work!
