The island 'Consell' Government has signed an accord with GB Airways, which operates under the British Airways banner, to run direct flights form London to Ibiza next year.
The flights will start in May, with 5 every week until October, then in the winter season there will be 2 flights per week. The deal will be signed on 12th November at the World Travel Market in London and will involve the island authorities providing €120,000 to publicise the flights around the capital.
