The loony lengths that some people will go to in the name of nationalism was amply illustrated last week when the delegate for education was denounced by 'Entesa Nacionalista i Ecologista de Eivissa,' a 'nationalist' organisation.

The delegate's crime was to release a press communiqué in Spanish and not Catalan. Strange, when the island's three main local newspapers, El Diario, Ultima Hora, and El Mundo, are all written in Spanish!
