...a member of a gang who carried out contract killings...captured

It's not often that a mega-criminal is captured in Ibiza so when it happens we just have to report it. Todd Handel, a 28-year-old Dallas man on Interpol's wanted list, was captured by the national police in Ibiza.

He had been a member of a gang who carried out contract killings and had fled to Ibiza via Mexico on a false passport when the rest of the gang were arrested by police in the USA.

Handel, who has been expelled from both the US Marines and the French Foreign Legion for disciplinary problems, had been charged with illegal possession of semi-automatic weapons.

It is believed that he had not committed any crimes whilst on the island where he worked as a doorman in a San Antonio Discotheque.
