Young David Sánchez could never have imagined that a case of missing records would lead to him studying record production in New York with top DJ Erick Morillo! But that's exactly what happened to the medical auxiliary who has been jobbing round Ibiza's smaller venues as DJ David Sánchez.
Morillo was due to play the closing party of Space, but in a highly unusual baggage-handling occurrence at the airport, the arrival of his record case was delayed. Whilst a flunky was despatched to await the case's arrival DJ Erick asked DJ David if he could give him a hand putting some records on. Whereupon, the maestro immediately recognised David's potential and promptly invited him to study in the Big Apple.
This is a dream come true for David, who like so many, came to Ibiza to progress in the world of dance music, and succeeded in the strangest way possible.
