Scanning the local news as regularly as we do, we find articles which seem perfectly harmless when viewed alone but when combined with another article make extremely interesting reading. Monday's edition of 'El Diario de Ibiza' stated that there is a stock of 500 coffins in Ibiza in readiness for any catastrophe which may occur. In the same edition it was also announced that a fifth of all vehicles undergoing the regular road-worthiness inspection (ITV) have serious brake defects. Is there a connection? Let's hope not, as the coffins range in price from €520 up to €2700!
