...Three players will each wear shorts bearing the names Mallorca, Menorca, and Ibiza...

Ibiza is now in the First division of the Spanish Football league! Well, not literally of course, but as a result of a new sponsorship deal with Real Mallorca Football club, current holders of the Spanish cup.

The Balearic Government is actually paying to have the names of the four Balearic islands emblazoned on the backside of the teams' shorts! Three players will each wear shorts bearing the names Mallorca, Menorca, and Ibiza, whilst 2 will have Formentera across their presumably, broader than average, bottoms.

The shorts can be purchased from the club online shop at www.rcdmallorca.es for only €21.
