Visitors to Ibiza town hall will be able to take a 'World Christmas tour' in microcosm from 14th December, as the new 'crib' (we use the term loosely) depicts scenes from all around the world. This enormous structure has been built by a specialist firm based in Murcia, and in 11 'stages' reproduces religious monuments from all around the globe (though most of them are Spanish). Included are churches and cathedrals in Rome, Murcia, Badajoz, Barcelona, and Karnak, to name but a few, all constructed in earthenware, wood and plaster! There will be special free buses to take visitors to the Town Hall cloister, where hot tea and chocolate will be waiting to warm people up.
