Painting the Town Blue

Ibiza Town council is to double the number of Blue Zone parking spaces in the coming year. The scheme, which provides pay parking for a maximum of two hours in the heart of the city, is considered to have been a great success and the council have received many petitions from neighbourhood associations to increase the scheme. A budget has been set aside to provide the extra spaces but as yet no firm decision has been made on which streets will be painted blue.
