..San Antonio Bay... is to get a much

Cala de Bou is one of Ibiza's busiest tourist centres and yet the majority of its visitors probably don't even know that they've even been there! Normally referred to as 'San Antonio Bay,' the area, which is extremely popular with families, is to get a much-needed facelift courtesy of the Cala de Bou Plan of Excellence. Financed by central, regional, and local government, €3.6 million will be spent mainly on improvements to the Es Calo road (known as the strip) and infrastructure such as the electricity supply. When completed the road will be one way, with much wider pavements and better wheelchair access, making holiday life much more pleasant for tourists.
