1 Star Montaña Hostel, San Antonio, Ibiza Hostal Montaña, San AntonioHostal Montaña, San Antonio

Situated in a quieter area of San Antonio the Montana Hostel is within easy reach of the nearby attractions of the town.

A short ten minute stroll takes you to the promenade with its trendy bars and the San Antonio beach. For evenings, the lively West End and the sophisticated sunset strip are both within easy reach.

All the rooms are brightly decorated and have a mini fridge and a complete bathroom. Some of the double/twin rooms have air conditioning and TV and most have a private balcony from where you can enjoy watching the comings and goings of the town. The single rooms are without a balcony and both the single rooms and the double/twin rooms without air-conditioning have a ventilator fan.

A fab pool at the Marino Hostel, 150m away, can be used by the Montana’s guests. The large terrace, with its cafe-bar, is perfect for relaxing on whilst working on that tan and a pool table and table tennis prevents you getting bored! Back at the Montana there’s a comfortable bar where you can enjoy a morning coffee, afternoon beer or evening drink depending on your timetable.

The Montana Hostel is bang up to date with an internet facility which includes free Wi-Fi. All the public areas are air conditioned and the friendly reception at this family-run hostel are more than happy to organise car or scooter hire, internet facilities or money exchange.

If you want to be close to the action but prefer to be in a quieter position for daytime relaxation and a quiet night’s sleep then the Montana is just for you!

The place is great, staff is friendly, everything very clean and tidy. The only negative point is that it is located in San Antoni, however the hostel is 5min walking from the bus station, from where u can go to almost anywhere in the island. If u are a backpacker like me, i do recommend staying in the single room, i think it is one of the cheapest options in Ibiza.

The best thing about the room was you got a fridge ! My other mates in a different hotel had air conditioning but no fridge, yet I found the fan provided was sufficient and I did not have to pay extra for it either : )

My wife (29) and I (30) stayed at the hotel from Aug 4 - Aug 11 2010. Everything about the place was perfect. The rooms were quiet and the ladies came to clean the rooms everyday around noon. There was a nice breakfast included with the room as well, if you were up by 1030. No AirCon, but that was not a problem as I am used to humid caribean heat living in Puerto Rico. That said, most people would be confortable with the shades drawn and the fan on. You are also free to use the pool at the sister hotel (3 min walk).

For some travelers one drawback is the distance to the SanAn waterfront, west-end, sunset bars etc (15-20 min walk). However, I had stayed right on the waterfront before (right above where Plastik is now) and was miserable from the noise. Hostal Montana is tucked away in the local residential neighborhood, and I was able party at night and recover sleeping-in as long as I needed. The girl that worked the front desk was amazing, she was full of advice about what to do, where to eat, etc.

This is 3rd trip to Ibiza and the ...
