Mirador de Dalt Vila Hotel - Situated in a privileged position within the ancient walls of Ibiza's World Heritage site of Dalt Vila the Hotel Mirador enjoys magnificent views of the old town, the harbour and the Mediterranean sea beyond. Originally a colonial style family house dating back to 1905, the Mirador has been sympathetically converted using period style and elegance combined with modern convenience and technology.
The finest materials; wood, marble and onyx, have been used in the decor. Period furniture and antiques evoke the elegance of the last century and paintings from the island adorn the walls in an unmistakeably simple Ibicenco style.
There are only 13 rooms in this stylish hotel. Guests have a choice of junior suites, superior or standard double rooms and singles - all of which are individually designed and decorated.
Naturally, all are air conditioned, heated and have plasma TV, WiFi and connection for your iPOD. Your stay will be calm and comfortable – choose between a range of pillows, complimentary toiletries and lounge in soft bathrobes after a relaxing Jacuzzi bath.
Breakfast can be taken in the Mirador's dining area or outside on the patio which is bounded by the ancient walls of the citadel. There's a small exercise pool here for cooling dips during the hot summer months.
The Mirador's bar – ultra modern chic meets 1930's cocktail bar - is the focal point for mid-morning coffee or pre-dinner aperitifs.
Dinner itself is a memorable experience. Master Chefs from the Balearic Islands have personally created the Mirador's signature dishes. Products are fresh from the local markets and accompanied by a selection of fine wines and cavas from the hotel's bodega.
With its limited number of rooms, the Mirador provides a level of personal service and intimacy that is difficult to find elsewhere in Ibiza. Discerning travellers and weekenders will truly appreciate everything that this superb boutique hotel offers.
