With live music, street performances and entertainment for children, Santa Eulalia Patron Saint's day is looking like fun!

If you happen to be in Santa Eulalia today, prepare for a good old Ibiza fiesta atmosphere as the town celebrates its Patron Saint's Day.

Solemn mass will take place at 11.00 hrs in Santa Eulalia's beautiful Puig de Missa church, followed by procession and traditional Ibiza folk dancing by Es Broll. Dancing and live music will then continue in Plaza Espana from 13.00 hrs.

Later in the afternoon, there will be street performances on the main street, Calle Sant Jaume, and at 19.00 hrs a children's show will take place in the square next to The Royalty, unless the weather is bad, in which case it will be moved to Teatro Espana.

You can hear the Virgin Music Group perform in the Chapel of Lourdes on Calle Sant Jaume at 20.00 hrs, followed at 20.30 hrs by a parade by Musical Sa Colla des Riu.

With live music courtesy of The Soul Family Orchestra rounding off the celebrations at 21.00 hrs in La Plaza Espana (in the case of bad weather, head to El Punt Jove), Santa Eulalia once again looks set to be honouring its Patron Saint in style!

For convenience, don't forget that as it is a fiesta day, you are likely to find many shops and businesses closed in Santa Eulalia.

NB. We've checked the weather report for you - weather today is looking like temp's in the region of 13-14 degrees, clear skies and only a light breeze - perfect for a day out! Enjoy!
