The restaurants in Ibiza Town have style, atmosphere and offer a superb choice of cuisine so you certainly won't be disappointed if you decide to eat out here.
Ibiza Town has three distinct 'dining areas' each with their own personality;
Dalt Vila (the old walled town) set high above the town provides a slice of historic old Spain. Walk across the drawbridge into the romantic old square, this is where you'll find most of the restaurants, though if you follow the narrow streets to the left and right you'll find come hidden gems.
tip: most restaurants fill up very quickly here so do make a reservation to avoid disappointment.
Sa Penya (the old fishermen's quarter) has narrow cobbled streets packed with restaurants, bars and people all providing an exceptional ambience. This is where the 'beautiful people hang out'. Easy to find and explore as the two narrow streets run along the back of the main port road.
The Port area runs alongside the waters edge and has stylish eateries, traditional places, and some expensive bars (don't be caught out!). This is also where the club parades start so you can sit back and enjoy watching the performance. We'd also suggest exploring the area on the far side behind Burger King - you'll find some great places there favoured by the locals.
Marina Botafoch class, exclusivity and fabulous views across the marina to Dalt Vila. This is where the 'wet set' hang out and you can dine on terraces overlooking fabulously expensive boats. Go on - treat yourself!
Finally - if you're lucky enough to be visiting here in the beautiful winter months, you'll find that many restaurants remain open. Take a look at our winter suggestions here.
Restaurants are open for lunch from around 1 to 4 pm; dinner from around 8 pm to whenever. Remember, the Spanish dine really late. In the resorts restaurants often open earlier or serve food the whole day.
