Ibiza Town by Night (Eivissa)
As the day cools down the long Ibizan night warms up. In town, most of the action is located in the narrow streets of the old quarter. It's here where the onset of evening witnesses a startling transformation as Ibiza's extraordinary nocturnal fauna begins to stir. 'See and be seen' is the rule of the night as Ibiza's beautiful people emerge to rub shoulder pads with transvestites, the likes of which you've never seen before, ticket touts atop stilts and throngs of partygoers.
A little higher up the hippie-chic boutiques, fetish shops and many gay bars which line the Calle de la virgin make for a fascinating midnight stroll.
In the many bars and restaurants that line the cobbled lanes of the harbour, do take time to sit down and admire the view.
You can not only take advantage of the happy-hour prices (usually the second drink for free).
