There are 138 rooms on 6 floors, all fully air conditioned and re-furnished in 2007. They have complete bathroom, hair-dryer, balcony, satellite TV, ceiling fan and direct dial telephone. Safety-deposit box (free of charge), mini-fridge, kettle and iron are optional extras. Whilst the high season of July and August attract many younger visitors, the 'Gran Sol' is very popular in the rest of the season with couples, singles and small groups of friends.
The small sandy beach of Caló d'es Moro is less than 100m from the hotel whilst the beaches of Cala Grassio and more sophisticated Cala Grassioneta are a stroll down the coast.
For the active there is a tennis court, table tennis and pool tables.
In the air-conditioned dining-room all meals are displayed, buffet-style, in generous variety.
