restaurant - Hostal Mallorqui

Restaurant - Hostal Mallorqui, Cala Portinatx, Ibiza Español

Mediterranean Cuisine at its most fresh.

Fresh Mediterranean fish is the specialty of this
peaceful coastline restaurant.

Two local fishing boats supply the kitchen daily, with the freshest the sea has to offer, providing the chef with the ingredients to create authentic Ibicencan and International cuisine.

The lobsters, for paella or caldereta (a delicious combination of soup and stew), are fresh from their own aquarium. For those preferring other flavours, the menu also has a range of pasta and rice, tasty hot and cold salads or succulent meat dishes.

Take in the ambience of freshness in the light, airy, and comfortable interior, where vast windows afford views of the islets and cove: a perfect setting for a memorable meal.

Or relax outside over a leisurely lunch or dinner on a balmy evening on the terrace overlooking the sea. An idyllic, tranquil setting to watch the little boats bobbing in gentle sea breezes and listening to the sound of waves gently lapping below.

Here are some dishes from our menu:

My partner and I (both 50) spent a lovely relaxing fortnight in Cas Mallorqui July 10. What a lovely place. All room balconies overlook the lovely smaller beach and harbour. Hours spent watching people pottering about on boats. Continental breakfast plentiful and delicious. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant not much english spoken. I would highly recommend this place to people wanting a quiet restful place to stay. Rooms are not lavish but adequate with efficient aircon, shower and comfy (single) beds - no entertainment, only spanish TV in rooms but suited us fine. Portinatx very easily walkable - a pleasant small town with enough bars and restaurants to keep us happy for two weeks. Would definitely go back.

Cas Mallorqui is in a fantastic location overlooking a quiet bay (at least in April!) The rooms were basic but had everything we needed and the balcony and views made up for that. Excellent value for money. The staff made us feel welcome and were friendly, polite and professional in everything they did. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a more authentic Ibizan experience.
