The Caribe Hotel and Es Cana are the perfect holiday combination for families and couples. In one of the best family resorts on the island with a good choice of fun bars, restaurants and entertainment, the Caribe is close to the golden sandy beach of Es Cana and the pine fringed Cala Nova beach too!

The comfortable rooms are fully air-conditioned, have satellite TV and phone, Wi-Fi and fridges are available for hire – perfect if you want to relax on the balcony with a cool drink. There are some family rooms for 4 available, but the majority accommodate 3 people. Children under 12 sharing with two adults go free in the low season and receive a 50% discount in July and August.

Families are really well-catered for, with plenty to keep the kids amused during the day and Mums & Dads entertained at night.

Whether it's sports and games or relaxing, the Caribe is just the ticket. You can lounge by the pool with a book and enjoy the bar service or take part in some of the competitions and games organised every day by the entertainment team both in the pool and the fantastic multi-use sports pitch. In the evening there's professional entertainment for all ages with shows, quizzes, competitions and live music for dancing the night away.

The Caribe is just a few steps away from the resort centre with a beautiful beach, a good selection of shops, bars, and cafes and a little harbour from which ferries shuttle up and down the coast. The nightlife in Es Cana is varied and relaxed but for a change, it's easy enough to hop on the bus to Santa Eulalia with its swish marina and wide choice of restaurants, just a few minutes away.

The Hotel Caribe is certainly a great choice for families & couples in the charming resort of Es Cana where there's always
plenty to keep you amused.

I arrived to meet up with my wife and children. She had booked me into a single room for ease. It was fab! Spacious, great spot, suntrap terrace. Will do it again.

No ground floor rooms but the 2 lifts always worked. Our 1st floor room had a large accessible bathroom and the bath only had one small horizontal grab rail in the middle of the bath; and no rail at the shower end of the bath. The loo can be accessed from the front or left hand side of a wheelchair; when seated, there is a grab rail on the wall to the left and an optional drop rail to the right. The floor tiles are textured but still a bit slippery. Some rearranging of the furniture would have to be done to access the balcony from a w/chair but the view was poor with no afternoon sun. We hired a noisy fridge and kept it in the bathroom! For safety reasons the buffet is not low level but the catering staff were most helpful; they even reserved a table of our choice! 8 years ago there was one slippery, steep ramp into the Caribe; now it is perfect: twice as long with a flat resting point in the middle. There are now 2 swimming pools, one with a chair hoist that you sit on and get lowered into the pool! ...

Caribe was absolutely spotless, rooms were small and beds a little uncomfortable, entertainment was great for the children also. The food was as to be expected for a 3 star family hotel after all our holiday was mainly for my 3 children anyway. We would give it a 4/5 overall but if your looking for fine dining ................ eat out.
