Cala Llonga, Ibiza. A secluded beach next to Cala Llonga with a popular beach club, a really special spot.

Location: 2 km south of Santa Eulalia, near Cala Llonga
Facilities: Loungers, parasols, showers, toilets - all in the restaurant
Activities: Nice food and relaxation!
Size: 300 metres long, 5 metres wide
Getting there: By car is the easiest way: head for Santa Eulalia, then Cala Llonga beach and follow the road to Sol d'en Serra. It will take no more than 20 minutes from Ibiza Town. There is plenty of parking space. You can also walk from Cala Llonga, which will take ca. 15 to 20 minutes.

Head for Cala Llonga, drive past the beach and, at the end, turn right up an uninspiring road that leads to the very inspiring beach cove of Sol d'en Serra, defined by the restaurant Amante, which overlooks this secluded area.

The beach itself is a small, rocky affair in a somewhat open cove partial to strong currents: both factors that make it unsuitable for children. Amante sits on a higher level than the sea. The restaurant has its own sandy areas with sun beds - for lazing your days away with a refreshing cocktail in hand.

The cliffs above the beach and restaurant offer fantastic views over the Med and the southern coastline of Ibiza, and the cove really feels like a private piece of paradise.

Beach bars and restaurants

There is only one restaurant, but it's a good'un. Restaurant Amante is the main draw to Sol d'en Serra: a beautiful restaurant that also offers yoga sessions, outdoor film screenings and a cracking opening and closing party.
