The 4 star Hotel Argos is ideally located directly by the beach at Talamanca, next to the exclusive Ibiza Marina.

It is only a 10 minute walk or short ferry ride from some of Ibiza's most famous attractions, the historic Ibiza Old Town and the lively port area.

The Hotel Argos is open all year, so is also ideal for that winter break.


Comfort

The Hotel Argos completed an extensive renovation and refurbishment in 2003. It has become a spot of maximum comfort; 106 rooms (the majority with sea view) with full bathroom, direct-line telephone, Satellite TV, free Wi-Fi internet connection, a safe (for hire), air-conditioning, heating, a mini bar and terrace.

Two Pools

There is an excellent a la carte and buffet restaurant, a TV lounge, conference and / or exhibition hall, bar, a swimming pool beside the beach and another indoor heated one, a solarium terrace, two tennis courts nearby and a golf course 7 Km away.

Great location

There are good connections to the city by bus or boat just 100 metres away. The Hotel Argos is open all year round and, due to its tranquility and the quality of its facilities and services, is a unique spot for a rest.

My third visit to the Argos was mid November of this year and previously I stayed in March and May. Our May visit was very much more comfortable than in March as the weather was exceedingly good, all the facilities the hotel had to offer were available and the proximity of the beach really came into its own. This visit in November was similar to my March experience and was just as pleasant with one exception. The weather in November was quite warm by UK standards but the hotel had closed down the air conditioning system. The room was too warm at night for me (personal preference) and opening the window did little to cool it down due to outside temperatures. I would have liked the air conditioning to be available during this visit though I understand that to Ibiza folk the outside temperature was probably considered decidedly cool. I was wearing shorts - the Ibithencans were walking around swathed in overcoats!

The hotel is well appointed and is right on the beach at Talamanca. The rooms
are good (mine had a balcony overlooking the bay) and the staff are friendly. I was there early March during the worst weather I had ever experienced on the island and if it hadn't been for the quality of the hotel my experience would have been less than comfortable. I'm looking forward to returning when I can sit by the pool or on the beach with a beer in my hand and listen to the surf.
