Walking Ibiza Medium Walks

If your group is reasonably fit and used to walking, these guided walks are perfect to take in stunning scenery whilst getting a good stretch of the legs

For the slightly more seasoned walkers, the Medium private walks are ideal. The walks are between 8-10 km in length and last about 4 hours. Some hills are included and not all paths will be well-maintained with the possibility of loose stones underfoot. Some experience of walking and a basic level of fitness is recommended before embarking on this walk.

As an added bonus for Ibiza Spotlight readers, Toby Clarke, the affable founder of Walking Ibiza will run all Easy, Medium and Hard private walks booked through us.

You can choose your own date, time and walk from Walking Ibiza’s many tried and tested routes. You can find full descriptions of all the walks on their website. Here are our two suggestions taken from their most popular Medium walks.

Es Vedra walk

This walk, starting from the tiny and very pretty coastal village of Es Cubells has the lot: truly stunning views, secret beaches, an interesting history, a special surprise view, pretty white-painted Ibiza villas, old fishermen's routes and a good deal of magic.

The “Lost City” walk

This walk starts in the wine producing area of the island just outside San Mateo, where most of Ibiza’s grapes are grown. You will go deep into a forest and visit an ancient Moorish settlement, built for 1000 people. Afterwards, you will discover what is known as the ‘great wall of Ibiza’, which stretches across the headland. From this vantage point stunning views across the water can be had.

We have tried it, read our review Hidden beauty uncovered with Walking Ibiza.
