Kaiser Chiefs added to Ibiza Rocks lineup

The Chiefs love affair with Ibiza continues, with more additions to the 2014 line-up.

The Kaiser Chiefs first played Ibiza Rocks back in 2005 for one of the first gigs run on the island when things went down at Bar M, now renamed the Ibiza Rocks Bar. Since then, they have been back on two separate occasions in 2007 and 2012 and will be taking that tally up to four when they hit the Rocks stage on Wednesday 3rd September.

Their latest studio album, 'Education, Education, Education & War', is their fifth outing as a band with big success with 'Employment', 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob' and 'Off With Their Heads' - all of which peaking at 1st or 2nd place in the album charts in the UK. With their latest offering also topping the charts on release and seemingly with the bands reinvention as an current act of 2014 the arena at the Ibiza Rocks Hotel is set for a night filled with old classics from the back catalogue and new material.

The support acts have gained increasing support over the years at the Ibiza Rocks stage. Some standout performances have come from acts brought in to warm the crowd up for the headline act, only to then steal the show and go on to be headline acts in their own right - London Grammar springs to mind last season.

So with this in mind, Ibiza Rocks have added a series of acts to their already impressive lineup for the 2014 season. That includes soloist Bipolar Sunshine, who supports Lily Allen's debut performance on 25th June, and Welsh indie rockers Catfish & The Bottlemen, supporting Jake Bugg's third Rocks headline show on 16th July. Canadian singer Kiesza, check out her single 'Hideaway', will support Rudimental on 30th July, plus headliners Bastille will be supported by blues solo performer Rag ‘N' Bone Man on 6th August.

The party continues - invite only - for the special few at Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes with Rock Nights. The venue is famous for being the hotel of choice for many famous stars in the 70s and 80s, with Wham!s 'Club Tropicana' was filmed at Freddie Mercury celebrated his 41st birthday with a still legendary party. The carryons run from 4th June til' 17th September.

Ibiza Rocks opens on Wednesday 4th June and runs til' 17th September, tickets are available priced from 35€.
